Welcome to Maypole Football Club

Maypole Football Club - the home of youth football based in Yardley Wood, South Birmingham.

As an F.A. Charter Standard Community Club we run teams from Under 7's to open age. Our aim is to raise the standard of grassroots football and widen opportunities for the local community.

This Award allows all teams at Maypole to be recognised and accredited as a Charter Standard Community Club, and includes ongoing help and support from the FA and as a benchmark for quality, it will improve the playing experience for all.
Also by achieving this Award, we are demonstrating to all members, parents and the public, that we are a well-organised, motivated and safe club.

We will be aiming to develop connections with local schools through our 'Cubs' programme and will continue to develop facilities at Maypole FC.

Our coaching sessions take place at the £1million all-weather pitch that we share with Moseley Rugby Club. This has been jointly funded between then R.F.U. and the F.A. Development Scheme. This resource is second to none and provides excellent coaching facilities for all.

All newcomers are most welcome and will be given ample opportunity to hopefully become part of the squad and establish themselves.
