DAY
took place on 12th June 2010 at Maypole FC
Maypole FC joined forces with the FA to promote ‘England Football Day’ which ran in conjunction with England’s first match of the World Cup.
As most grassroots teams are short of girls teams we are put all our efforts into promoting the day just for girls.
We would like to thank Emma from Birmingham County who ran the coaching sessions for the girls.
All the girls that turned up thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are hoping to progress further by joining our girls U10's and U12's teams.
The game needs more girls who have a passion for football and want to play whatever your level.
If you would like to get more involved in playing for one of the girls teams then we would love to hear from you, simply register your interest by clicking on ‘Players Registration’ and enter you name, age and contact details.
